I found a leak one Sunday morning in my garage ceiling, that afternoon I called a large local plumbing company. They sent someone out to take a look but the plumber didn't seem confident in his work and suggested we start tearing holes in walls and ceilings to figure it out. I kindly asked him to leave. A few days later we were referred to Culpeper home services by someone at my wife's work. We called, scheduled an appointment and Jason from Culpeper Home Services showed up at the promised time, giving me advanced notice via a phone call. When he showed up and started looking around, explaining things to me, I immediately felt as he had lots of experience and knew exactly what he was doing and talking about. Turns out, the leak was from my fridge ice maker and not from a pipe. I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, speed, knowledge and that honesty Jason and Culpeper Home Services provided. After all of that fee was more than fair and my house didn't have to be torn apart! Culpeper Home Services is now my go-to for any of my home service needs. I cannot give enough stars for this review. I came home from work and the our hot water heater went and flooded our basement. After cleaning and finding the source my husband called after 8pm and by 9:30pm Jason came out and replaced our hot water heater that NIGHT! I cannot tell you what a relief it was not to have to worry about not having water. Jason was quick, very efficient and we were so grateful for him coming out that late at night and having everything replaced and installed so quickly and with hardly any mess. He removed base board heaters throughout our home which we just closed on he also installed some gfci outlets.he did a great job,was very friendly and knowledgeable.he informed us of incorrectly installed wires that were overlooked by the home inspector.read more

I once again used Culpeper Home Services on December 13, 2019. I called them to come and give me a quote on a broken exhaust fan in my guest bathroom. The receptionist provided excellent customer service and set me up with an estimate a few days later. I was then greeted at the door by Donnie. Let me tell you about Donnie: He was amazing! He had a very upbeat personality, was enthusiastic about helping me not only fix the fan, but to ensure that I had no mold or other problems in the bathroom. He provided a very competitive estimate and I decided to book his services. It only took about 3 days when Donnie and his apprentice Thomas were at my door with a state of the art fan/light combination that would ensure my bathroom did not suffer any water damage in the future.They really got going as soon as they arrived at my house. Thomas had an excellent work ethic and Donnie was giving me a step-by-step on what exactly they were doing in my restroom. They also discovered some faulty wiring and outlets that were damaged due to moisture. They fixed this free of charge and even installed a brand new light fixture for no extra cost (other than me buying the fixture). The restroom looks amazing and I could not be any happier. Thomas and Donnie rock! I will definitely be calling them again in the future. First, let me start off by saying that Kristy, the receptionist, is an awesome, bubbly, and very helpful person. Her personality, manners, and cheery spirit really impressed me as soon as she answered the phone. It is very telling about a business when there is staff that are willing to go above and beyond for the customer. I can tell she enjoys working there and that the organizational climate at Culpeper Home Services is positive and all about customer service. Finally, Russell, the master plumber, was amazing. He came to my house to help me locate a leak that has been causing our water bill to be extremely high each month. Although we were not able to find a specific leak, he did offer his recommendations as to what could be causing high water usage. We narrowed it down to the water softener system and he advised for me to keep an eye on my water bill during the next 2 months and let him know. Russell was full of class, attentive to my concerns, and extremely diligent in combing through all my home's pipes and water sources. He took the time to explain to me various things in my home and you can tell he really cares about his customers. I even forgot to ask him something after he left and he drove back to talk to me some more! You are going to be well taken care of with Culpeper Home Services and I fully recommend this company! I will always call them for any of my home needs!read more

Johnny came out to fix my sink that was dripping. While he was working we chatted and he had a great personality. He was very pleasant and after he was finished he explained what he did. To my surprise, he not only fixed the drip but also the small leak around the counter that happened when you press on the handle too hard.
